Cal May 12th

The CAL season has restarted and so our "victory" from last week is null and void we are again 0-0 in the regular season. =\

Oh well. We are playing Be eF Ee (http://bfe.alliedhq.net) (we have scrimmed some of them b4 and they are pretty good).

The map will be avalanche. More details will follow as more information comes to light as we schedule the match with them and whatnot.

Until then I want you all to be little AV *****s and play avalanche instead of Caen. I know we all love Caen but we gotta learn AV. I need someone to schedule some scrims for us 6v6 our server or theirs either way... Just so our only AV experience isn't PUB play.

Roster will be posted eventually in the roster thread.

YIPPY KI OH KI EH MOTHER ****ers!!! Avalanche... Could the map be any better??? If you answered no, they you answered incorrectly. It could have been Caen, which would have been smoking hot, but if it couldn't be Caen than Avalanche is surely the next best thing!!! I am stoked.

WE suffered a defeat! This is for one main reason! People who were scheduled to play didn't show up! We played 5v6 because I couldn't get ahold of the other people who were scheduled...

Myself, Marty and Proto had to sub! Proto wasn't even on the sub list...

Lenz was sick and he told me so I was expecting to sub...

We gave them a good run for their money a few times and capped all but the last flag... however, we had a case of the camping going on and not all rushing... when we moved in tiny teams and communicated on ventrilo we did the best... it hurt us that marty wasn't on ventrilo so he had no idea what we where doing...

THAT IS WHY VENTRILO IS A REQUIREMENT OF CAL MATCHES FOR OUR CLAN!!!!!

GG PDM...I was told that you gave them a hard time when you played allies! And it really blows that you didn't have the numbers you needed :(

Yeah, Thudd said that you guys had alot of skill, but that you didn't seem to have the level of communication or the "I'm gonna cap this damn flag if it KILLS me" mentality that is needed to win. The good news is this can be fixed through practice and will only suppliment your already superior weapon skills. Everyone needs to remember (and we tell both our teams this as well) that you score zero points for a kill: Flags are your lifeblood. I really do think that you guys have the potential to be an excellent team if you make teamwork your priority.

I am really disappointed in the no show thing... I am fairly certain everyone who was going to play was given ample warning that they would be playing... I don't see why there was so much no-showing... Yeah, we were schooled liek what. It hurt. It may not have been so bad if we had six people, but nonetheless, Be eF Ee is especially good and really knew how to play... Anyway, all I wanted to say was even more disappointing than our loss is our total fallout with communication.

I would like to know where the missing 'mates were... It was such a disorganized rush to get Proto and then look for a sixth player but that never came about. *nods head in aggravation*

I feel like an uber n00b asking this, but what is VENTRILO?

its a communicatyion program desigend for game play you have a server and you join it and you talk through that as oppsed as in game voice communication its better quality and louder and that way the other team dosent know what ur syain just in case all talk is on vent pwns the w0rld in teh face hole :)

Oh, BTW...you guys are official ahead of us in the CAL-O rankings :D We got 100% PWNED in the facial region by a team that is getting moved directly to CAL-M next week, has 3 players who wer CAL-I last season, 3 who were M and a CAL admin :o Yeah, that was a lesson in humility alright heh.

Hmmm, I like this ranking system. Indeed. It seems like that defeats the point of winning, but hey, I'm not going to complain. Only ask how that is possible... And then hope we get whooped on every time!!! Our rank would skyrocket...
