Servers

[[PDM] stiltz]

The 12 man server will no longer be a server of ours as of the 15th of this month.

This may or may not be the last month of the 16 man Avalanche server. I will not continue to support all of the servers month after month... Without support from clan members to help out we will just have our Caen server and the private server... Ventrilo and HLTV are given to me for free (even tho I always forget to connect the HLTV up to the server)....

Yeah... I unno why... I played on it a few times and ppl would come join and play with me on it but then as soon as I or the rest of the PDM members would leave then everyone else seemed to clear out of the server as well. So that kind of sucked IMO... Where people afraid of being in the servers by themselves? lol I know it can be pretty scarey in a server when your all alone... =]

Once a few people leave it can start a chain reaction of people leaving.I guess that is what happens.

hehe i remember some of the best times i ever had while playing on the caen server was when there was <6 people in the server. guerilla tactics come into play then; shovel/knife and bazooka kills are the best at these times :D

tough decision was made today... I am not sure it was the best thing to do but it had to be done...

We now only have a 20 man caen server, a 14 man private server, and Ventrilo...

I have dropped the 16 man pub, HLTV, and PV's 12 man pub...

I just can't afford to keep throwing money out like this each month... It was a good run for us for a while but I can't keep it up... I have plans for after January that just will not allow me to keep affording this as I need to save as much money as possible and am feeling as if I should just stop all but a private server... I won't do this tho as it would ruin our community and would drop the private server and use the pub for matches when we did need it...

Thanks for your understanding and co-operation in this matter. I did not do this to raise donations. It was purely a, Darren had to do what was best for him moment. The relationships I have developed within the game server community are still strong and we will still be offering all the same services previously offered (minus our own pub servers) as having servers for rent costs me nothing a month...
