The current Caen is the best version thus far!

Waldo really stepped it up on this map and made it special. He was the developer on the caen map since the begining nad has been improving on it more and more for each version of DoD.

It has come a long long way since the first caen that I remember back in the days of DoD in beta form.

The Brits arent gay, well back 200 years ago they were, but they arent anymore and definatly not in WW2. Granted if we didnt help them they would be speeking german right now. For being from a small island as they are; they put up a brave and heroic fight

british guns are so good.
rifleman shoots more w/o reloading, which is kickass.
sniper also needs to reload less than axis sniper.
british mg also has a nade, unlike axis mgs.
british is much better than axis.

i rather love each and every brit gun. i prefer bar over bren but take bren over 30 cal anyday cuz of nade and non deployed combat efficiency. the sten is about on par for me with the thompson, and in fact prefer it to the thompson for long range fighting.

overall i feel the enfield is the best all around gun in the game.

overall best gun would pry be the stoss or the m1 gurand( could some1 spell it 4 me)

but the best rifle is the kar.
and the best smg is the thompson.

maybe in real life the kar is better but i have heard numerous times the enfield is the same as the kar. and the thompson may be better than the sten but as far as i am concerned the two are on par with each other.

and personally i hate the garand. it is the least accurate rifle, does the least damage, and the carbine fires much faster. in my opinion the garand is the worst rifle and usually is my last choice of weapons... well other than the greaser which is just terrible.

it may be all in my head, but it seems that the enfield is a bit less accurate for some reason. i do like the kar better as well, even if it is only because of a brain stigma. :D

likewise i find the enfield feels more accurate to me. in reality there may not be a difference between the two but until they drastically change one or the other i will always prefer the enfield.,

lool likewise i know they are the same but the kar is more accurate to me.. i think its the way the skin is. i think im going to try to take the kar skin and put it in the brit enfiled and see if it works.. i bet its just the skin.


yes the gurand is also my last chice of weapon when it comes to rifles... but i woulkd take it ovewr the greaser.

it does little damage.. i only like it cuz u can butt end people which in my opinion is worse then gettin stabbed. for me it takes like 3 buttends to kill some12 ans its so slow! lol

I love the Garand... Aim for the head and its a one hit wonder... reloads faster than the other single shots so if you miss you get another chance before you've been shot dead... IMHO anyways...

yea but anythign beyond close range it is hard to get a headshot, espeically on a moving target. thats why i take the 1 shot kill-anywhere-on-the-body enfield or kar over the garand. and while the garand does fire faster, its kick makes it hard to make use of the faster fire rate at times, especially over long distances.

well i see ur point i used the garund 1 time and i was 21-3 so it worked well.
