Progress was made today on www.pdmclan.com!

I was tinkering around with some things and I didn't screw anything up and thats always a positive (don't worry I backed up the db before I started my tinkering)...

The link "Clan Members" off the main menu now takes you to a clan listing. I am going to link your screen names to another page which will show your ranking in the world of Day of Defeat (according to www.csports.net. don't get a membership, I have one for free because they screwed up when I signed up :D )

Anyhoo, So that is cool... I'm not entirely thrilled with the formatting of the page but I had no control over it except for the horizontal lines and the bold :) I will figure something out... attach a style sheet to it or something and also I have to work on chaning the bar at the top to not say "content" and all that other junk. But hey!

ITS PROGRESS!

Ok... so krayhzeekhrakuh and I were doing some testing and found out that from the homepage you can click "clan members" and it'll bring you there... but if you then click "stats" from the clan members page you get an error. Same goes if your in stats and you click "clan members" it errors... so I don't know how to fix that... but just a word to the wise... I'll fix it like Sunday night or else on wednesday...

So I fixed all the links now they load to something... more progress made in the little 15 minutes it took me to figure out what was going on...

ok.. so two posts in a row... shoot me... thought it might make some of you look...

Check out the Main menu... the only section that is pretty much complete is the "Clan Members" section... the only thing I want is to get bio's from all the members so I can put them in there along with their ranks and what not. In the clan member area it has your world ranking... its pretty tight... I have most everyone up there now... except yaziliclick... =\

Anyhoo... forgot where I was going with this.. oh yeah.. please help support the cause of [PDM] which is to game and game some more and have a kick arse time doing it. With Phildo buying a house he won't be able to contribute as much $$$ as before (speaking of which... can I have my money phildo?)
So we have the nifty paypal button to just donate some monies or the google ads... we get lots of views of the page a day (average of 3474 hits a day) and I get paid for each clickthrough as a percentage of how many views... So click those bad boys... in the first two days I put the ads up we made $26.00 since then we have made maybe a dollar because they haven't been getting clicked on and I'm not supposed to click on them...

The rankings thing is sweet... I never saw that before... Out of how many are we ranked... For example- I am 103,xxx... Is that out of 103,xxx +1 or did they give me that number so I would think I was alright when there is really only 102,xxx people ranked or do you have any idea??? I went to the site, got confused and left again...

that is out of about 300,00 players tony... It fluctuates a little bit because some players become inactive when they don't play and fall off the ladder... and new ones come aboard everyday...

now if you follow the Ebay ad we earn money for every bid and every new user that signs up and bids on something when they follow that link... So thats cool... Also, if you need anything for your case to mod it out or whatnot xoxide has what you need. Follow their link if you decide to buy something... good times eh?

After about 2 months I am going to decide which ads are most effective and get rid of the bum ones...

Also a thinkgeek ad is on the way... so hold your orders on that stuff.. :)
